The opium poppy is cultivated in lower Mesopotamia. The Sumerians refer to it as Hul Gil, the 'joy plant.' The Sumerians would soon pass along the plant and its euphoric effects to the Assyrians. The art of poppy-culling would continue from the Assyrians to the Babylonians who in turn would pass their knowledge onto the Egyptians.

wow that is very amazing. see i need this phrase translated. just say no to the family values. or something similar like no to the family values. one of my fav poets wrote that, and i thought it would be great for wedding rings or something like that, i wana paint wedding rings and put that... a mind fuck kinda painting... and my vies on mariage... anyway do you think you could help my msn is hell_khat@hotmail.com but thats not my email... ;]
